Driving Assessments

Driving Assessments

Our driving assessments are suitable for drivers who are already in possession of a drivers license but are unsure if they are still fit to drive.

The ability to drive can be impacted on by age, injuries sustained or be affected by the presence of a chronic and or degenerative condition.

In a so called "off the road" assessment we evaluate the skills required to conduct a motor vehicle safely in traffic. The presence of sufficient perceptual skills as well as the ability of the patient to make safe judgments physically, cognitively, visually and from a reaction perspective is part of our analysis.

The assessment is followed by a once-off driving lesson conducted by a registered driving school and specifically trained instructors. Based on our recommendations, they take a short drive together in the person's own motor vehicle to assess the person's ability to drive on actual context.
