About Megan
Megan graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2020 with her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree and went on to complete her community service year in rural Standerton, Mpumalanga. During community service, she had worked in a fast-paced hospital environment with minimal resources at her disposal. She provided occupational therapy interventions for diverse conditions in paediatric, adult and geriatric populations, often constructing assistive devices from natural or synthetic resources in the hospital or community.
Megan is passionate in her advocation for occupational therapy and roots her therapeutic approach in client-centeredness and critical appraisal to ensure that she never stagnates in providing the best possible interventions to her clients. She is dedicated to her professional development and special interest in neurorehabilitation with pursuits to advance in this specialty.
She is a professional Latin American and Ballroom dancer and loves spending her free time exploring and trying new culinary cuisines and spending her time enjoying live theatre and sporting games.
